Today

Today is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Not to wait another day to praise your good name.

Not another second to wait for tomorrow, a cheap counterfeit.

There will never be another day like today; this I proclaim.

Listen, is now not called the present for a reason?

Now is the time to worship in every good or even harsh season.

Why put off till tomorrow what can be done today?

To be with others, to laugh, and to play.

To be glad in it and give thanks to the Lord, for He is worthy of praise.

Give him a chance, and he will surely amaze.

I don't know about you, but I will not ignore this present,

of love he gives by always being present.

For all who call on him shall be saved,

faithful even to those still unsaved.

Again I say there will never be another day like today.

So don't waste time waiting on a better tomorrow when you can make today the greatest day!
