S**t-Brown Eyes

S**t-Brown Eyes

A Poem by Luxe

My eyes are brown
And that's really all
Almost black without sunlight

I have never felt any love towards my eyes
They don't reflect the colors inside
Brown is a pretty anticlamatic way to portray myself

But I do remember
Someone
Who used to look into one eye
And then the other
And then the other again
Completely silent
And I swear he thought my eyes were pure gold

I don't miss him
But I miss that
I miss the cool color of my eyes
I miss not having brown eyes

I really like this, Luxe. It is very interesting, it makes me curious to know more -- so you are drawing the reader in. And it has emotional depth and makes the reader (me) want to know more. You start by telling us your eyes are brown, but close with, "I miss not having brown eyes." Do you miss someone else who has brown eyes? You definitely have talent. Keep working on it.

We are together, all the pieces of me, parts of me, and people I'm made of. We were born together, we live together and we'll die together. I am nothing but the sky and every element that makes up our.. more..
