don't we?A Poem by Lydia Shutter![]() sometimes there's an itch just below the surface a vague "something's not quite right" nudging my psyche a hunger overtakes me usually at dark thirty how many calories are burned worrying? and why am i awake thinking of this anyway? will i be happy on the other side of morning? the music of silence dances on the jagged curve of a moonbeam and still i am the one worrying must remember, ashes, ashes, we all do fall down don't we?
