Deep

Into my skin it does seep
Running into my heart deep
Inside it does take hold
Unable to be controlled

Like birds in their nests
This is where it rests
It will never be truly gone
But I won't always stay a pawn

Even when I can't feel
I know the pain was real
A pain you can't see
From which is hard to break free.

Deep within a feeling stays
Hidden inside my heart maze
Forever here it will stay
But maybe one day fade away
