Every dusk has a dawn

You look up and see the dark skies,
Wipe away the tears in your eyes.
Look close and you can see the light,
Shining through and forever bright.

Even in darkness light always prevails,
Like a gust of wind to a fisherman's sails.
A stroke of luck comes to the patient,
A different but good kind of payment.

I see in your eyes the pain inside,
Don't worry life changes with the tide.
Let go off your fears and your sorrow,
A new light dawns on the morrow.

Don't let it beat you and descend,
Don't you see that it isn't the end.
Chin up, smile and keep moving on,
And you will become forever strong.
