Unobtainable

You're stuck dreaming, you have been for years.
Words are no use, they fall on deaf ears,
Try to grab it, but you fail every time,
But up this never ending hill you continue to climb.

Why do you even try, it can never be yours,
A ball of pain, all the attempts ensures.
Forever out of your reach, they will stay.
It is, completely hidden and locked away.

They'll always sit high and you in the pit,
You'll fall a million times, you'll never reach it.
I can see it in you, you'll never give in,
But chasing this dream, you'll never win,

But that is love, the emotion we all crave,
Not all will get it, usually only the brave.
No matter how hard you try, they never leave your mind,
You see only utter perfection, because love is blind.
