LoveA Poem by LyriaA cycle of love and its lessonsLove Glory sees the epiphany of the smothering feeling, As the trees hum with the wind; a dreamy voice singing. Time flows by as the sensation growing and burning, Leaving a mark that I should start caring and believing. Struck I was like a hollow tree struck by lightning. You came and you conquered, a battle i was not winning, Your smile cured what was left when it was raining. A hug so warm and yet so forgiving, You stayed and gave so much that I continued living. Every look in your eyes kept me breathing. Alas! I believed that what we have is surely amazing. A voice that kept me afloat the clouds dreaming. But then you took a wrong turn, a swift blow devastating, Years were turned to nothingness, emotionally breaking. I loved the way you came but the this time you're going. On my knees i cried and you still went away while I was pleading, A couple of months passed my barren phone started ringing. A message from you asking why I had let you chose him than our something. I replied in my ways to let you see what was left inside me screaming. "Magically we dream but desperately we kill," the essence of love you left me hurting.
