The PlayA Poem by Michael G JamesonWritten for a contest to an online free Picture![]() The Play Deep within the deepest darkest corner Of the never ending Universe it stood With all the glory of it’s bygone era Draped beneath the mountain’s frozen hood Standing at attention was the forest Witnessing the ending of the day The evening sun soon setting in the distance Will draw the star filled curtains on the play The drama’s been repeated over ions Whispered through the forest by a muse It stands alone while holding up the heavens Reflected in a mirror of browns and blues How can the world ignore his awesome splendor He does his best to help as you can see Tomorrow he will greet the morning’s sunshine And keep the sky from falling to the sea By MGJams © 2015 Michael G JamesonReviews
