The Sun Shines...

The Sun Shines...

A Poem by Grey
"

Wrote in 2009 about another guy

"
The Sun shines.
I remain on the inside.
It may be warm outside,
But his heart freezes me midstep.
His cruelty was the best secret kept.
He played with my heart,
Now it's shattered a million pieces apart.
I cared-he didn't.
I'm wrecked-not dented.
I'm dying without him-my oxygen,
But it hurts too much to be with him again.
Bury me 6 feet deep,
Or drown me in the ocean of tears that I weep.

Imaginary Infatuations

For Grey,

I am a small mouse,
(grey) and dusty--
I wait under his foot,
Even a stomp will do.

I wait for crumbs,
Of cake to fall.
For even those
Were a part of him,
And soon a part of me.

Attention and love,
is all I seek--
But even crumbs will do.

Sorry I couldn't help it, great poem. honestly, heading to more of your work now!

About
I am a random, lazy writer. If I don't write it when I think it or when I'm in the mood it will never happen. I try. Aspiring to be a Journalist. Criticism is welcomed. It's not me, but I like it: .. more..
