THE BEAUTY OF A WOMAN

 

 

Is the beauty of a woman in the color of her skin,

the shape of her eyes,

nose and lips - thick or thin;

the length of her hair,

clothes she chooses to wear;

American or French manicured,

How do we compare,

the beauty of a woman

 

Is her beauty defined by friends,

society's views,

trends; discernment of beauty -surface or within

 

Honey, Pecan, Mahogany

Ebony's beauty lies in her story

 

Her strength, courage,

her ability to endure

triumph through struggle

her sacrifices and much more;

her beauty is sustained

 

In faith, she knows God is love

she recognizes her blessings come from above
