Wing's of A Moth

I can't promise many things,

But what I can promise you

Is that I will give you all that is me,

What I've learned,

My past,

Even my unconditional love.

But understand I'm only human,

A man of flesh and blood,

Like a moth mesmerized by light,

You captivate me,

So please shine bright,

And never dim,

But if you do,

It would be in my nature to move on,

For another light,

Might shine brighter.
