A poem of hopelessness

I'm trying to live

But I can hardly breathe

I want to be more

Than what I am now

But how can you control

What you don't understand?

The waves crash around me

And the lightning strikes

I can't control Mother Nature

And I can't control

What lies within my soul

This is good. I think we all us sometimes struggle through life. The important thing is to try and get through it. I like the way the poem depicts Mother Nature as something we can't control.
