The monster
Inside me
Rips me apart
Takes parts of me
That I can not live without
I am dying inside
Unable to escape his grasp
He is cruel
I am the host
To his brutal invasion
I am a fragile, broken shell
Hoping that one day
The pain will cease
The monster
Makes me smile
Pretend there is no problem
