Sugar, SunshineA Poem by MachinaWriterAnother love poem for the woman of my dreams
i've been reaching
across these sheets and feeling sunshine
where you should be but there's no sunshine without you near to me ain't no sunshine i've come to see; and now i'm rising
from beneath these sheets coffee sounds right, don't you think? but there's no sugar to help this drink and if there ain't no sugar then why even drink? sunshine i need your sugar, i really do think. yes, sugar, i need your sunshine, yes, i really do think.
