True Love

I had written this to express my feelings for a girlfriend I had at the time. Unfortunately, she will probably never learn how to have true love for someone.

True love isn't

          about being selfish,

          needed,

          about the flesh,

          secretive,

          forgotten,

          conditional,

          or even about you.

 

True love is just that - true.

 

True

          to the one you love,

          about how you feel about them,

          about what they mean to you,

          regardless of the circumstances,

          forever and ever.
