WHAT IF ?

What if I never saw you smile,

the day you noticed me ?

What if I’d never said “Hello”,

would our hearts have filled with glee.

 

What if I never held you,

would my heart still beat as fast ?

What if I my arms never felt your warmth,

now those days are in the past.

 

What if I never kissed you,

would lips still taste so sweet ?

What if I never touched your hand ?

As we walked down the street.

 

What if I never married you,

would my life be any worse ?

What if I never met you you ?

what ifs are just a curse.

 

What if I hadn’t met you,

would our lives have been the same?

What if our son had not been born,

would I feel this awful pain ?

 

What if I never hurt you,

would we still be joined as one ?

What if I never loved you,

would this pain I feel be gone ?

 

What if I said “I’m sorry”

would you still be mine ?

What if I.......

I could turn back time ?
