Chapter (2) A DAFT IDEA

Once a young Dino called Dave,

lived with his mum, in a cave.

He watched birds in the sky,

and thought he’d like to fly,

So he came up with a plan really brave.

 

The next day Dave wanted to try,

 so he climbed up a tree really high,

Then he lept from the tree,

and said “Wheee look at me.”

And promptly fell like a stone from the sky.

 

Poor Dave was battered and red,

He had bandages wrapped round his head.

His mum said with a tear,

“What a silly idea.”

Now you’re stuck here mending in bed.
