What is a fish?

 

A flashing streak across a deep blue sea,

A sharp toothed tiger hunting free.

Silver shoals a million strong,

A Whale shark ten metres long.

Some fish can fly above the waves,

Some live deep down and hide in caves.

In shapes and colours of every kind,

In seas and rivers and lakes you’ll find

Such piscine forms to shock and thrill,

From giant whales to tiny Krill.

And in our homes to fulfill a wish

We keep aquariums filled with fish.

So you may ask

What is a fish ? tell me please,

A fish is delicious,

deep fried in batter with chips and mushy peas.
