Chapter (8) THE TELESCOPE

TELESCOPE

Mum bought me a telescope

Cos I had been good.

It was shiny and big

On a stand made of wood.

 

We put it in the garden

To look at the stars

And with a book about planets

I found one called Mars.

 

One night I was watching

When to my surprise,

Something quite strange

I found in the skies.

 

A tiny little alien

was flying round the moon.

In a tiny little space ship

Shaped just like a spoon.
