BEETLE

A Happy Little Beetle

was playing in the sun,

And the Happy Little Beetle

Was having lots of fun.

The Happy Little Beetle

went crawling on a log,

But then the Happy Little Beetle,

Was eaten by a Frog.

 

Perhaps the poor Little Beetle should have stayed at home.

How cute! I love beetles (odd, I know, for a girl, but I do!), and I love frogs even more! Not many things can get that teenage squee sound from me, but your frog getting the bettle managed it. You really are very talented with writing engaging children's verses. I enjoy reading your work!
