Chapter (24) THE BOGEY MAN

                                        The Bogey Man

 

   The Bogey man comes calling,

   In the middle of the night.

   He likes to find small children,

   And give them such a fright.

 

   A little boy called Charlie,

   Was sleeping in his room.

   When through an open window,

   Came Bogey on a broom.

 

   Young Charlie wasn’t frightened

   And without an If you please

   He picked up his wooden Base Ball bat

   And whacked him on the knees.

 

   The Bogey Man was crying

   In a heap upon the bed,

                                        So Charlie took his bat again,

   And whacked his shins instead.

 

   So when the Bogey Man comes calling,

   In the middle of the night.

   Just take a wooden Base Ball bat

   And give the Bogey Man a fright.
