Your poem makes me think and question attitudes. Part of me agrees with your poem, but the truth is, just as the less beautiful are much more than their plain looks, so are the physically beautiful. Sometimes, too often really, neither the beautiful nor the plain are aware of the gift that he/she truly is-

thank you for you observation Mary, actually what you have said is what i believe also that everyone has an inherent worth which is not qualified or disqualified by how they look. My concern is that more often people emphasize on the physical beauty than the moral or intelectual beauty.
