Sun and AshesA Poem by M.J. Gamboa. You touched me and suddenly i changed colours, but then you decided that shade just wasn't for you.
His arms
were paved with the gold of the sun. His eyes -The most beautiful tone of hazel. Were embroided with the thread that barely hid his lack of affection. My arms were colored with the grey of ashes. My eyes a heartless shade of dark brown. And when we collided we made the most uncommon shade of colour. My body got stained with the gold of your arms. And your pale blue lips got painted by the warm tone of red that mine held. -They tasted like the exact moment when you realize it's too late. His lips twitched ''What were you thinking?'' But walls don't break down
that easily. © 2016 M.J. Gamboa.Author's Note
