Chapter 7: Common Sense or Paranoia?A Chapter by VineyThe members of the gang are getting hard to find. What does this mean for Silver? That night was a nightmare in itself. As I went to my room for the night, as Blaze went to his, I kept looking back over my shoulder, feeling like someone was watching me. I entered my room. I barely slept that night. I was a nervous wreck. When Magma came to get me for training, my eyes were darting around wildly and I was trembling badly. I wasn't exaggerating when I said I was a nervous wreck. During training, Blaze(he was also a mess) and I told Magma about Lark and Remora. He didn't know what to do, or where they could be. The rest of the day passed slowly and uneventfully, for the most part. I didn't eat anything, because I felt like something was waiting for me in the Main Room. I did sleep that night, but not well. The next morning, Magma didn't come to wake me up. I was up all night anyway, so I wasn't late. I went to my training room, but nobody was there. I waited for a little bit, but neither Blaze nor Magma showed up. I started shaking. I was incredibly nervous. I'd even go so far as to say that I was scared. Come on Silver, I thought. Your just being paranoid. But another part of me wondered if it really was paranoia. I went to Blaze's room and knocked on the door, but got no response. I couldn't get in, because Magma had the keys to our rooms. I stopped briefly to wonder about how I got out, and then decided that he must have disappeared before he locked my room. I checked the Main Room, though I needed to convince myself that nothing was waiting for me there. I still wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. I skipped eating anything again, and made a beeline for my room. I didn't even turn off the lights that night, because I knew I wouldn't sleep. Turns out I did sleep that night. After the door opened and my body exploded in pain.
