From the HeartlessA Poem by Rose TylerI kept to myself Though it may be hazardous to my health, I should have used less stealth.
Though, I cannot say That your love isn't the way, I keep all at bay.
Walk a day in my shoes, And feel on my heart the lingering bruise, Then you'll see the torture I've been through, the abuse.
I should have known That I'm still weary to the bone, I should have known better and kept to my own.
Forgive me if you want, But that was not a jaunt, Perhaps you're right, my heart may have become gaunt.
