From the Heartless

From the Heartless

A Poem by Rose Tyler

I kept to myself

Though it may be hazardous to my health,

I should have used less stealth.

Though, I cannot say

That your love isn't the way,

I keep all at bay.

Walk a day in my shoes,

And feel on my heart the lingering bruise,

Then you'll see the torture I've been through, the abuse.

I should have known

That I'm still weary to the bone,

I should have known better and kept to my own.

Forgive me if you want,

But that was not a jaunt,

Perhaps you're right, my heart may have become gaunt.

Perhaps it may have become gaunt. Although I may have been pissed, reading this did make me feel a little better, because I can understand much more. Sweetie, I love you I do, in more ways than one deary. I understand you not being able to trust, I can't either but I'm sure we could learn, together. I'm sorry for being a bit angry, along with being angry for you asking Jared permission. I forgive you, and I hope you forgive me too. I'm not sure if you got my text and replied but if you did I got my phone taken away for a day or two. I'll see you at prom though, and we can dance together, like you wanted
