Prairie Song

Country folk will know.

Waving fields of wheat,

Stands of corn,

And blue oceans of flax.

 

The call of the coyote,

The trill of the meadowlark,

The thunder of buffalo

 

The song of the prairie calls

Those with will to work

The drive to succeed

And the heart to make dreams come true.
