A girl with nobody except her shadow... She has no one to love or to hold. No one to help her with her struggles... She is afraid. Its dark...and she feels so alone

Why do I feel so alone

There's no one to talk to

No one to love

Or to hold

I hide away in the darkness

Scared and afraid

Its so quiet

And very cold

I see nobody

But my own shadow

It follows me

But it cant talk

It just lays there

On the walls and on the floors

...all I wanted

Was someone there

Someone to help me

To heal my sadness and sorrow

Someone to be my friend

But instead I'm all alone

And with nobody to love

Besides my own shadow...
