Best Friends

Best Friends

A Poem by Manda
"

We were best friends, but soon became lovers

"
I miss you
Because I can't see you

I love you
Because I can't have you

You were my best friend
But now....

You're the love of my life

Well, expressed... to the point; covers much so, very succinctly! As if you "read my mind" and expressed past thoughts of my own.

when best friends turn into lovers its great, but don't lose the friendship, its best when your lover can be your best friend, companion, confidant, lover, and husband.... thats the best best gift ever... and i am proud to say gifted...

You share with us the complexity of friendship and love that often mingles in... how the relationship changes.. deepens and moves. So well done.

Nice simplicity. Once that line is crossed for one or both of the parties involved...the friendship dies.
