if only

the thoughts of a child in a disfenctional family

If only ,

They loved each other

I would be better

And even brighter

Full of laughter 

Not hiding in a shaltter

Scared of traiters 

if only,

I could understand 

What went wrong in the end

Is love maint to fade

Or  a sattelment has been made

It's more like a shade 

With a lower grade 

If only ,

I was the parent 

Swith places in the present 

To see what was the best 

If you stayed or that you left

Was it hard to forget? 

All about us as time went 

not a call neither a message sent

"If only," is just a word 

that Iam using to explore 

the chance of end the war

that's around me for sure

but Iam just a child 

 And the children are maint 

to be in the middle of this event 

no matter how hart it gets 

I wish i can do something but I can't

Interesting and thought-provoking! Sometimes the situations around our up-bringing causes us to rethink about the different outcomes. Yet, at the same time look at how great of a person you are now. I'd say you are who you are for a reason and I want to see you grow even more.
