The reef

The reef

A Poem by Margaret Marie Hubbard

Willingly I submit my existence to the tides
The ever changing wake of time shall cleanse
I abstain absence inside my barrier
An absolute solution to amalgamate my thoughts
Beauty of a promise I keep circumscribed
If ever you dare to caress the life encompassed
Your memories consumed in swaying and wade
Credence and discover all strive to survive

I enjoyed the poem. I like how you used the sea to create thoughts and reactions. You left the reader with things to ponder. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
