Fishermen

Fishermen

A Poem by Mari

At the end of the day the fishermen light a fire, Together they share their catch, They drink beer around the flames. A warm breeze drifts by. They thank God for what they have little they possess. They recall the past and touch the green grass. Drunk, they listen to music: “Fisherman’s Blues” by The Waterboys.
