Ever since I met you,

I knew that you would end up

hurting a sweet girl named Mariana...

but I changed...

 

Everything's changing..

the way my sweetness would flow

suddenly forgot to grow..

now these tears of joy

turn to tears of hate...

 

love is gone,

its like a bird on high!

it only flies away

it has no home

a pretty good poem, somehow reminds me of the song "Everybody's Changing" by Keane. it has a simple flow, not unnecessarily complicated and the thought is well expressed. The last line is very effective.
