Sisters

Sisters

A Poem by Suzuki

Sisters by chance and friends my choice

Even though we weren’t actually sisters I still thought of you

As the twin I didn’t have

The sister who had my back even when I was wrong

A sister they say last a life time

A sister understands and would never hurt you

A sister holds your secrets and never would tell a soul no matter how bad it was
My sister we always laughed together

Me and my sister fought but always stayed close no matter how long we went without seeing each other.

The person I called sister broke me into many pieces I couldn’t breath

I couldn’t think or believe that my sister stole my love

right under my nose and accused me of such things

we’d never imagion

My sister was the end of my spark

that died once she choice him

Over me.

-We buried here today 14 year old me and her once sister

I guess we were cousins for a reason.
