Love Enough

Cat sitting on your lap TV flickers Black and White Movie

Cold beer or Coffee to hand light fading

Cosy in here but blustery outside

Heaven help the sailors on the sea tonight

And this furry little Creature starts to purr beneath your constant pat

Is that love enough for ya?....Is that love enough for ya?

In the wee small hours you’ll step out to sample  stars above

Milky way ...a meteor going only god knows where stars here before us and long after we are dust beneath a lush green grass sheet roll me over in the clover do it again and again

Is that Love enough ? Is that not love enough for ya ?

Hospital bed your mother’s face in repose and so it goes as you read the lines of a life well lived triumphing over trials and tribulations beating adversity to the touch these hands of alabaster once wiped your baby’s a*s and teenage tears  but the days are long and the years are short her breath shows not on mirror she’s breathed her last and so will you so you’ve got a chance to make your life a work of art all this time go embrace realisation of your unique creation ...

Is that not enough for ya ?....Is that Love enough

It goes on like a bird song a childs wonder flowering fauna fox on the run cloistered monk or nun of the above but the love of taking your lovers face in appreciation of having found one another in a sea of people climb the highest steeple .....

Once upon a Love is all we get regret not once upon a love once upon a lovelifetime

Is that not Love enough?.
