We Both Want Someone to Love Us Sincerely

Here's another love poem.

A lonely girl somewhere wants someone to love her.

It must be hard for her not to be in a relationship.

Sometimes she despairs when she’s alone.

And she just can’t resist the desire of her heart.

 

She’s wondering if there’s someone who loves her.

It really hurts not to have a man in her home.

If she reveals her feelings and admits her loneliness,

Someday she’ll learn what true love can do.

 

I also want to know if there’s someone who loves me.

Every day I try so hard to find a girl for myself.

I hate competing with men for the love of a girl,

But the pretty girls I greet on the street aren’t single.

 

The girl in my poem and I have something in common,

We both want someone to love us sincerely.

She wants to give her whole heart to someone.

And I want to share my love with a nice girl.

 

How I wish this sad girl would pass my way today.

If we meet, I hope our eyes will like what they see.

I’ll think of something very nice to say to her.

And if she cares for me, we’ll love each other madly.
