A Potential Romance

This is a poem about chances, love, and loss.

In the past, I told many girls that I loved them,

But most of them didn’t love me.

Now I love other attractive girls,

But I haven’t told them about my love yet.

Perhaps one of them loves me,

But she doesn’t know how to tell me.

 

If I tell the girls that I love them, what will they say?

Will they react favourably to my approach?

I wonder which one of them loves me?

Should I let them know my feelings?

Attractive girls broke my heart many times.

I don’t want history to repeat itself.

 

Which girl should I attempt to court?

I don’t want to tell the one who doesn’t love me that I love her.

What can I do to increase my chances of success?

I have to say something to one of these girls.

Hopefully, I’ll choose the right one.

I can’t just walk away from a potential romance.
