This is a poem of love.

You want to know if I’m in love with you.

Sometimes I hang out with the girls across the street.

I admire their fashionable hairstyle,

Especially the sexy clothes they wear.

I do like the texture of their skin,

And I enjoy watching them rehearse.

 

There’s no reason to be jealous of them,

My heart doesn’t beat fast for Suzan or Jane.

Even though they dance and sing well,

I’m not interested in either of them sexually.

You’re the only girl that increases my heart rate.

There’s something different about you,

And it certainly has an emotional effect on me.

 

I don’t feel aroused when I talk to other girls

Even if they’re attractive and smart.

Every time I see you, I behave abnormally.

I feel so out of place when I’m near you.

Baby, my posture begins to change,

Silly ideas start to appear in my head,

And I forget everything I want to tell you.

 

Your presence drives away my despondency,

And I just can’t avoid staring at you.

I’d like to utter sweet expressions in your ear,

But, Nata Saskia, I’m so bashful.

Why did you ask if I in love with you?

Can’t you see what’s happening to me?

Yes, I’m definitely in love with you.
