JasmineA Poem by Poet PittinixLove and blues.Could you do something for me when you see Jasmine? I haven’t seen nor spoken to her for many years. Tactfully mention me and observe her reaction. Her countenance may fall when she hears my name. Ask her what happened the last time she saw me. I wonder what she’ll say about me behind my back. Tell her that you met me somewhere recently. And say I look much younger than my age. I hope she doesn’t surmise that I asked you to do this. Please don't mention the woeful story I told you. Don’t say I spoke about my undying love for her. Don’t tell her
that you saw sadness in my eyes. Don't say she broke my heart into pieces, And when we separated, my whole life fell apart. Tell her that I’m now a successful businessman. Don't let her know about the pain I feel daily. If she asks you if I mentioned her, tell her no. Just keep the things I said about her confidential. © 2026 Poet PittinixAuthor's Note
