When It's Night-TimeA Poem by Maroon SurrealMe...The black smoke starts to taint the blue skies It is night-time again The streets would get darkened by deep blue Violets reflect too The time when people would rest, would sleep For others, to weep And for me to seek For the time I cannot find in daylight. Wide awake all night While my loved ones sleep tight No attempts of waking them I won't try to bother For I am contented alone 'Til dawn, I'm up 'Til the morning's sunlight have shown. © 2012 Maroon Surreal |
