Lunar Black

A sijo

Insides darker than the hidden lunar black of winters night
Unseen by eyes blinded by the luminescent eerie glow
My soul distracts with veiled happiness masking my anguish

sijo. first time I see this type of poetry.
a dark write. short and to the point. I like it.

Thank you. It's a form I use very little but is one of my favourites.
Three lines of 14-16 syllables with an overall syllable count of 44-46. Opening line sets an image, second develops it some, and the last twists it a little. Korean form usually written about nature,metaphysical, spiritual etc. I think heh
