As I put on my coat,
And open the door,
the snow is blowing,
from the cold winter storm.
As I walk out,
I hear crunchs beneath my feet,
It's the snow,
glistening with glee.
I can feel the wind against my face,
I can feel the cold air rushing like a race,
I hear silence in the air,
But I can feel people around and near.
I can taste the snow against my tongue,
The dry air rushing into my lungs,
The scent of moist cake in the air,
The scent is too much to bare.
The sight of little children playing,
circling the Christmas tree,
And candy canes in their hands,
Could Christmas be worth it?
But Christmas without,
you,
Is something I cannot lose.
