Good Over Evil

Good Over Evil
Ram, Lakshman and Ram's wife, Sita, Singing geetas,
In their exile of 14 years,
In the forests, no tears.

Ravan wanted Sita as wife,
But chance of getting her was tight,
He sent a man as a golden deer,
Sita saw it and wanted it.

Ram and Lakshman went to hunt the deer,
Ravan snatched Sita out of the hut,
Put her in his chariot and flew,
Out the deer died, the 2 men confused.

They searched for her nights and nights,
Hanuman the monkey god helps,
In the gleam, light went bright,
The monkeys joined and made a bridge to Shri Lanka,
For now, it's time to fight RAVAN,
"JAI SHREE RAM!" They said with might.

They fought for 10 days,
Ram aimed at Ravan's heart,
There he was shot,
Sita was back,
This is DUSSHERA!!!
--------------------------------
They went back to kingdom,
After 14 years,
The queen's tears,
The king sees the wisdom.

Houses lighted with diyas
Crackers burst,
Good was once worst,
Victory,
Is Good Over Evil!
This is DIWALI!!!
