CHAPTER 9: THE DEFEAT

CHAPTER 9: THE DEFEAT

A Chapter by Martiya Daman

Ria and Dina, with their gold bows, took their first step in the deadly forest. The two walked across tangly trees and reached the pure silver rivers. “Wait, how are you going to cross this, when you don’t have wings?” asked Ria. “Hold your axe, because we are going to Walk Glide.” Dina whispered, held her axe, faced forward, put the axe in her belt, and walked. She soon was floating above the river and others followed but then came a huge surprise.

Velmora splashed out of the gleamy rivers and caught Ria’s leg, and she screamed with fear, shouted and howled as loud as possible for help. Dina immediately went for action. She faced her bow and arrow at the omen’s neck and SHOT. The neck started bleeding and the omen let go of Ria, rushing towards Dina fast. She swiftly held her ruby sword and used it as an arrow. There was nothing else. If the sword couldn’t kill the omen, they had no arrows or swords left.

She shot exactly at the heart, and the omen screamed with pain and exploded with golden glows, and a diamond-platinum sword remained. The demon was dead! Dina immediately ran to get the sword, but Ria asked, “Can I have it?” She gave out a sigh and passed it. To her astonishment, Ria cloned it and passed the original sword to Dina. “This is what you get for being the best sister!” Ria beamed seeing Dina’s smile.
