Wounds

Wounds

A Poem by Mary Bosworth

Although you still view me
broken, with gaping wounds
discarded as unfixable
You've decided that I'm unworthy
of love, caresses and kisses
The saving grace of healing
shall mend all my wounds
restore my heart and soul
So next time you view me
I shall be rendered whole
fully capable to reject you

This is a come back to life write. Strike back at those whom taken away you pride and tried to give you a black eye. Much pride in your writings I solute you in your bravery.

Very interesting poem and different perspective, the will power and disposition is expressed as if crystal clear, well penned
