Decaying Leaves
A Poem by Mary Bosworth
Air snaps Trees divorce themselves From their leaves Framed on bare-boned canvas Summer succumbs Stainless steel rosary Clenched in her palm
Intrusion Never her intention Her suns devoted To the solemn study of trees She weeps her season In decaying leaves
