Stolen LightA Poem by Mason
Oh Darkness,
don't steal my light. It is the last thing I have that matters to me. How could I see her face? How could I smile? I would be crushed, crushed under your weight, sorrow's weight. So please, oh Darkness, don't steal my light. But if you insist, let the last thing I see be her face, then I can smile forever. © 2018 Mason |
