The pain of an innocent girl

I'll let the words describe this poem i wrote about someone special to me.

She is the one that stands out in the crowd

The "weird one"

The "odd one"

The "different one"

But i prefer Special or Unique

You'd think her weakness would be the bullying

But her achilles heel is herself

The mental battles she has with herself...

The fact that her nemesis is her own mind...

And just thinking about what she goes through daily...

Saddens me

Although the pain she endures

On a regular day

She still comes home

With so much to give

She finds meaning in life

By helping those who have it worse

Because she secretly wish

Someone would do the same to her

Weather it is helping someone else battling their mind

Or donating money to charity

She finds happiness in knowing she contributes

contributes to a better world

She is the kind of girl that goes through hell but remains a saint

And that is why she stands out
