This poem is about how I felt when I was going through a very tough part of my life, I struggle with depression and this is how it feels to me to be depressed.

I am a shell

a ghost of my self 

floating from day to day

numb to the world

I am a train 

on a track of sorrow 

unable to change course

I am paper

being used and thrown away 

everyday the same

suddenly a light

its my chance 

to feel again

to veer off course

to stop the pain

do I take it?

am I strong enough?

deep down I know the answer 

yes.

This poem is about how I felt when I was going through a very tough part of my life, I struggle with depression and this is how it feels to me to be depressed. This poem is also about if there is a chance to get help or to help yourself you should take it.
