rain sex whisper flightA Poem by Tim Lion from
behind laughing eyes I stare down at sweat-sheened heaven (gasp)(grasp)(let it begin) twitchy life enmeshed in a song of light nectar taints pain flop in the love muck heart stops/starts fresh slide smooth/crash hard wicked innuendo disquiet the soul corpse I have seen dreams ant-sized miracles dance on your taste buds dissolve in your bile watch my body scream like fire from a cloud as my ice-colored shame tails the comet to glory when I have slithered, crawled, hopped, and ran with your name in my veins like combustible fuel you will wither on my back and become dragon wings and we’ll fly to the edge of this angel-fucked lie (gasp)(grasp)(let it all end) there’ll be nothing more to
do but
fall
with newborn rain
