Tuesday morning moltA Poem by Tim LionI music scripture shaped schools of dartlike swimmy words/ tiny black and white fish peck the massive brain
reef with puckered kissy lips over needle teeth. the editor said surreal fish are too common; I said editorial opinions are, too. our silence said goodbye perfectly.
behind a multigrain muffin bite, long awkward aquatic octopus hugs with inward giggle sounds; fetal dreams in watery love. in waves of carbonated static, sermon faces play patty-cake/ form steely treaties of velvet touch. fleshy self weaved with selfless soul parts/ some-undefined-thing of cosmic substance. a comfort you can’t buy at Walmart. escape the brushstroke twists of handcrafted gods. lightest of gold cloth falls in slow motion radio sing-alongs. I’m already a five dimensional howl, and I haven’t even finished my first cup of coffee. sugar cube winks seep into the reflection of my rippled face. I don't feel sweeter. ten thousand alien verses bubble to the milk-fire surface: time has gone deaf. only space is listening; her ears bloom like silver roses. I’ll never be this me again. nobody will miss him. © 2011 Tim LionReviews
